Longing
like a dog outside the butcher's shop; a short desperate poem
I long for you,
Somewhat feverishly
Quite pathetically, really
When it comes to you my self-respect burns to ashes
Like paper under a magnifying glass
“Congratulations, your experiment was successful”
My heart now beats for two. For you. Maybe me
My heart now waits for you. Jumps at the sight of you
Beats like a beast when you touch me
If I could, I’d rip it out and give it to you
Wrap it nicely; a love letter
written in flowery cursive, slightly damp with blood
“I’m sorry about the blood but really, you caused this”
You.
Three letters. Heavy word. Three days without you.
I want you back. In my bed. Sweet and sleepy. Mine.’
I will bring you back to life
with my lips
and my eyes
my caresses
and my thighs
Strung onto you like fish on line
Don’t bite, my sweet
Devour me.

Brilliant !
Great poem!
